BEGINNER

McHenry's Practice Loops at Deer Valley Resort

Access to the east of the Homestake lift on the right of McHenry's ski run. This is the perfect trail to practice your skills and to check out your bike.

Red Pine Loop at the Canyons Resort

Located at Red Pine Lodge, this spacious trail is aimed at providing beginner mountain
bikers room to experience our Utah trails

McLeod Creek Trail to Willow Creek Loop

Access from the parking lot across from the McPolin Barn. Head north on McLeod Creek Trail to Willow Creek Park and Willow Creek Loop. Great flat ride for families.

INTERMEDIATE

Deer Camp at Deer Valley Resort ?

This trail begins in the meadow and is located to the right of the double track on the way to Flagstaff Mountain. Scenic single-track trail through aspen groves.

Mid-Mountain Trail

This singletrack trail stretches from Park City to The Canyons, following the mountain contour at about the 8,000 foot level connecting all three resorts and offering spectacular scenic vista, lush forests and beautiful aspen groves. Various options exist to tailor the ride, which can stretch up to 22 miles, with considerable elevation change.

Ambush at the Canyons Resort

For hikers and bikers looking for a trail out of the base area, Ambush is the one. With 1,200' of elevation gain, Ambush departs from the base area via the service road and climbs towards the Super Condor Express lift, passing
the Short Swing trail and ultimately meeting up with the Mid Mountain trail. Ambush meanders through some switchbacks until meeting up with Short Swing or continuing ahead.

Rosebud's Heaven and Rob's are also accessible via Ambush.

Round Valley

Park at Quinn's Junction. From there choose from a number of tracks. Matt's Flat to Rambler is a great choice.

Lost Prospector to Skid Row

Park at trailhead on Aerie Drive. Follow Lost Prospector to Skid Row. Skid row dumps you out on the Rail Trail for a much deserved, easy pedal back to town.

EXPERT

Holly's

This trail brings hikers and bikers to and from Red Pine Lodge via the base area and the
bottom of the Flight of The Canyons gondola. Although the trail can be used in either
direction, down is preferred (especially for bikers). This trail drops 900' in approximately 4
miles. Leave Red Pine Lodge on the Mid Mountain trail, cross a bridge in a deep canyon, and
head over to Lookout Peak. From there, follow Holly's as it winds down the mountain to the
base area.

The Dog Pound at Deer Valley Resort ?

A series of three trails named for Deer Valley's avalanche dogs. These trails contain freestyle features, bridges, ramps and skinnys.

Fire Swamp at Deer Valley Resort ?

Expert only! State championship downhill course. Pads and downhill bike recommended.
